Slide the sleeve over the dripper body from the bottom, it fits snugly by friction. To remove, simply slide it off and switch between sleeves whenever you like.

What sets the Sleeve Pro apart from a plain sleeve?

The difference is grip. A plain cork sleeve holds on by friction alone. That works day to day, but it can loosen, because cork and metal behave differently under heat and because the cork gives a little over time. The integrated silicone band of the Sleeve Pro pulls the sleeve permanently against the body. It therefore stays in place even when you lift the dripper off the server and take hold of the sleeve while doing so. Everything else stays the same: cork as the grip guard that keeps your hand off the hot wall, and the fit for the Graycano Dripper. The Sleeve Pro is made from natural cork with an integrated silicone band and is hand made in Portugal. Clean it with a damp cloth, it is not dishwasher safe.

Frequently asked questions

Two things: the integrated silicone band and the hand manufacture in Portugal. The band holds the sleeve permanently against the body instead of letting friction do the work. You notice it most when you lift the dripper off and set it back down often. What the higher price does not mean is a longer service life, we have no solid figures for that. The table in the same section puts both variants next to the Special Edition.

Both materials conduct heat poorly, and there is no great difference between them on that count. What matters is the construction: cork is worked as a thicker layer and therefore puts more distance between your hand and the hot metal. Silicone sits thinner against the body and works better as a tensioning band. That is exactly how the Sleeve Pro is built: cork as the surface you hold, silicone as the band that holds it. We do not quote thermal conductivity figures here, because we have not measured them for our material thicknesses.

The Cork Sleeve Pro is handmade in Portugal from natural cork, a sustainable, renewable material that provides excellent heat insulation and a comfortable grip. Each sleeve is slightly unique due to the natural variation in cork.

The Cork Sleeve Pro is designed for the original Graycano Dripper. It is not compatible with the Dripper S, which has an integrated silicone ring instead of a sleeve.
