At My Tree, we give you the chance to adopt a coffee tree on a beautiful farm in Brazil. When you adopt your own coffee plant, you’re not just helping a tree grow. You’re becoming part of something meaningful. You’ll get to name your tree, watch it grow, and follow its journey through seasons of sun and rain, all the way to harvest.
Your tree lives at Fazenda Jacarezal, nestled in the heart of Minas Gerais, within the renowned Cerrado Mineiro region, Fazenda Jacarezal has been a cherished family farm for generations, passed down through the Machado family. In 2022, the farm began an exciting new chapter with the establishment of its first hectare of coffee cultivation, made possible through a collaborative social project with graycano, called My Tree. Pioneering this initiative in the region are farmers Paulo, Daltro and Michele together with their team. Together, they are overcoming the unique challenges of the region, dedicating to cultivate a delicious and flavorful coffee. With transparency, and a commitment to quality, they are bringing coffee lovers along on an unforgettable farming adventure.
How the adoption works:

Give Your Coffee Tree a Name
When you adopt a tree, you’ll receive a beautiful certificate with your tree’s name and ID. We’ll also place a handmade wooden sign next to your coffee plant with the name you chose. About one month after adoption, you’ll get your first photo of your tree.

Follow the Journey of Your Coffee Plant
Your connection doesn't stop there. As your coffee tree grows, you’ll receive seasonal updates via your personal e-newspaper. Through vivid photos and stories from the plantation, you'll witness firsthand the life of your tree and the care it receives from our farmers.

Be Part of the Harvest
The plantation harvests successfully, you'll receive an exclusive offer to buy the coffee beans at a special price or enroll in our amazing subscription packages to ensure your coffee beans at every harvest with the best prices. Currently the Fazenda Jacarezal dedicates one hectar to the My Tree adoption project. With total of a bit over 4.000 trees, the plantation features two exceptional Brazilian coffee varieties, each with its own personality, flavor story, and charm:
MGS Paraíso 2
Known for producing smooth, well-balanced coffee, Paraíso 2 is loved for its subtle floral notes and sweet, citrusy aroma. It is a hybrid, specifically bred from the crossing of two varieties: Mundo Novo and Caturra and is often used in high-end blends because of its clean and refined taste. Perfect for those who enjoy a gentle, aromatic cup with a soft finish.
Arara
Arara stands out with its vibrant yellow cherries and bold character. Originally hailing from the rich, volcanic soils of Brazil, this variety offers a fuller body and fruity notes. It's a newer favorite in Brazilian specialty coffee, gaining attention for both its cup quality and resilience. A coffee perfect for a more adventurous, flavorful brew.

Coffee Tree Adoption - FAQ
Adopting a coffee tree means you're supporting a real coffee tree on our farm in Minas Gerais, Brazil. You get to name the tree, receive updates as it grows, and enjoy a direct connection to the world of sustainable coffee farming.
It depends on what you purchase: tree adoption only, tree adoption + 200 g coffee or tree adoption + 1000 g. But generally every adopter gets: A personalized sign with the name of their tree, a certificate of adoption, a photo of their tree, regular updates of your tree and the farm.
Absolutely! Tree adoption makes a perfect gift for coffee lovers, birthdays, holidays, or any meaningful occasion.
While each tree contributes to our farm's harvest, we currently don’t offer beans from individual trees. However, whenever the harvest is successful, you will be able to purchase the coffee beans of the plantation at a special price.
We send seasonal updates with photos of your tree, farm news, and insights into the coffee growing and harvesting process.
