Grown at 1,800m in Colombia's Quindío region by fourth-generation farmer Sebastián Ramírez, this Gesha delivers an intensely floral, tea-like cup.
roasted by Blind Monkey
Grown at Finca El Placer — "The Pleasure" — in the Quindío region of Colombia, this Gesha is the work of Sebastián Ramírez, a fourth-generation coffee farmer and processing innovator who mentors young producers across the country. Situated at 1,744–1,800 metres above sea level in Calarcá, the farm benefits from cooler mountain temperatures that slow cherry development and concentrate flavour.
Expect a strikingly aromatic and delicate cup — pungent florals lead from fragrance all the way through to the finish, layered with notes of jasmine, peach, tangerine, and a soft tea-like body. This is Gesha at its most expressive.
