From idea to reality
The graycano’s journey began in January 2020. Felix was already a coffee enthusiast and intrigued by the beautiful art of hand brew. That is when the idea of designing an essential brewing tool that combines elegance with precision and quality extraction was born.
Later on he met Nicole. Both passionate about coffee and with much in common. Felix shared with Nicole the start plans and concepts of the graycano. But why not go further? The idea behind the graycano then started to grow, like the love and curiosity they both have for coffee and its life cycle.
While developing our first coffee dripper we focused on providing all of the other coffee enthusiasts with an essential and unique tool that allows them to achieve the perfect extraction. However, there should be more. We wanted to offer them what nobody else has offered before: the chance to learn more about a coffee plantation and to connect with a coffee tree. It took days & nights of research, conversations, tests and decisions making before we finally were able to bring the “graycano experience” to life.
