Christmas donation to Die Arche

Christmas donation to Die Arche

This Christmas we organized an auction together with the Austrian Brewers Cup champion, Martin Wölfl, with the intent to raise money to buy gifts to children in need. By donating, we can spread love and joy and also give these children hope and a sense of belonging during a time of year when they may otherwise feel left out.

The organization we chose to help is Die Arche in Leipzig. Die Arche is a German Christian charity organization that provides support and assistance to children and young people in need. Founded in 1993 by Christian and Sabine Wippel, Die Arche operates a number of centers and programs across Germany.

Die Arche's mission is to provide children and young people with a safe and nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and develop. The organization offers a variety of programs and services, including after-school care, homework help, sports and recreational activities, and support for disadvantaged families.

We auctioned two packages this Christmas, each included a graycano dripper, one Christmas-special-edition sleeve and 200g of the competition coffee from Martin, which he brewed at the WBrC 2022 in Melbourne. Although the auction was only for a week online, it was a success! And for that we have to thank all the coffee lovers who participated, shared and supported this project.A total of 200€ was collected and used to buy gifts for the children and teens, like school supplies, books, cups and bowls, towels, which happily filled up a box.

A small project with a great purpose! Thank you again to all that participated, this is just one from all of the social projects we plan for the next years.
